Start with the bill in front of you
A refund of a TRICARE premium, a copay, or a claim payment is requested from the regional contractor or from the provider who sent the bill. Have the claim number, the date of care, and the explanation of benefits ready.
Use the claims page to see where a medical claim is filed, and use the phone number for your region to ask about the status. A military hospital or clinic bill is handled by that facility.
