TriWest Healthcare Alliance

TriWest Healthcare Alliance is the TRICARE West Region contractor, which runs the beneficiary portal and customer service for West Region beneficiaries.

TriWest Healthcare Alliance is the TRICARE West Region contractor. It is a private company that works for the government; it does not decide who is eligible for TRICARE (that is DEERS).

What it does for you

According to TRICARE, TriWest:

  • runs the beneficiary portal where members sign in and manage care forms;
  • takes updates to your other health insurance, which helps keep claims from being denied or recovered;
  • sends wellness messages on preventive care and health topics through the portal;
  • offers chat with customer service representatives in the portal.
