How to get your immunization records

Where you got the shots decides where you request the record.

Last reviewed October 2, 2026 · Confirm time-sensitive details with the official program.

Official decisions come from TRICARE. This guide helps organize public information; verify eligibility, coverage, deadlines, costs, and contacts at TRICARE.mil.

Where the shots were given

TRICARE’s own answer depends on the source of the immunizations.

If a civilian provider or pharmacy gave the shots, including overseas, request the copy from that provider or pharmacy.

If a military hospital or clinic gave the shots, stateside or overseas:

  1. Log in to MHS GENESIS.
  2. Open the Health Records tab.
  3. Select the records you want to view or print.

If the record is not online, use the official archived-records instructions. In the United States you can also ask your state health department.
