The study and the machine are separate questions
A sleep study can be covered when it is medically necessary. Equipment such as CPAP is a second question: your contractor may require a study result, a prescription, and authorization before it pays for the device.
Prime usually needs a referral before specialty care. Confirm both the visit and the equipment with your contractor before you schedule.
